Week 1 EOC: Great Customer Service
Great customer service is so hard to receive now a days, especially in a fast paced city like Las Vegas. The malls on the strip give out some of the worst customer experience, which I've experienced numerous times. However, there's been one outstanding experience I had and that was at Sephora, one that is connected to JcPenney. Since I was 15 I've been working in retail and I strongly believe that a perfect luxurious customer service experience should be comfort and connection, I received just that. I went into Sephora to purchase my favorite mask "GLAMGLOW" which is retailed for $69 (but totally worth it) but sadly they were all out in that location. The young woman who was helping me was incredibly helpful, she looked and rechecked it the store was indeed out. Luckily, it was available in another nearby location (she called) but, I didn't want to drive 15 miles. The lady went beyond, she recommended other face masks that were just as good as Glam Glow and she handed me a couple samples of each. I think this was amazing because many workers just give up when a product is sold out. Overall, the experience was like any other. I usually get stuck up chicks who are brain dead.
Week 1 EOC: My Voice
Passion. That's what has brought me to where I am now. From being a little girl, dressing up in my grandma's closet, I would be amazed in what I could create with her clothing. I remember, saving up every little money I could from chores and being eager to have my mom take me to nearest mall just to spend it on clothes. My closet started to grow, and still is. It was then that I grew this passion for art and fashion and it would continually run in my veins. Currently, I am studying for a retail management bachelors degree at the Art Institute of Las Vegas but my goal is to land a career in being a creative director or major stylist for a high end boutique. My determination and passion will lead me just where I need to be.
